The Blue Mosque is an active place of worship, so modest clothing is required:
Women should cover their heads with a scarf and wear clothes that cover shoulders and knees. Men should avoid shorts and sleeveless shirts. At the entrance, scarves and coverings are provided for free if needed. Shoes must be removed before entering (you’ll get a plastic bag to carry them). Comfortable shoes are recommended, as there’s a lot of walking during the tour.
