Antalya Aquarium’s foundation was laid in November 2011, and it opened on August 15, 2012. The indoor area is about 15,000 m², built on a total site area of 30,000 m². It is located very close to Konyaaltı Beach only about 70 meters (walking distance) from the shore. The construction was completed in about 260 days (less than a year) from breaking ground to opening.
The oceanarium houses more than 40 thematic aquariums (i.e. separate zones or habitats replicating different regions, seas, rivers, etc.). Its signature attraction is the tunnel aquarium, which is 131 meters long and 3 meters wide. The tunnel passes through a large tank with a water capacity of around 5 million liters. When counting all the aquariums together (not just the tunnel), the total water volume of the complex is sometimes given as over 7.5 million liters. There is also an XD / Ocean Ride / 3D cinema attraction within the complex, adding a cinematic / immersive dimension to the visitor experience. Some decorative elements in the tunnel / exhibits include a sunken airplane, shipwrecks / reef structures etc.
Snow World & Ice Museum is an indoor cold-weather attraction located within the Antalya Aquarium complex, offering a refreshing contrast to the city’s hot Mediterranean climate. Maintained at a constant –5 °C, it features real snow and ice environments where visitors can enjoy a true winter atmosphere in the middle of Antalya. Guests receive winter jackets, pants, and protective shoe covers before entering to stay warm inside. The museum showcases impressive ice sculptures created from about 50 tons of ice, depicting famous Antalya landmarks such as Hadrian’s Gate, Yivli Minare, and the Temple of Apollo. Inside, visitors find igloo-style structures, snow-covered surfaces, and themed displays, along with two snow-slide areas and tubing zones for playful activities. A cozy chalet-style café offers hot drinks and a place to warm up, while lockers at the entrance provide safe storage for personal items. Attracting around 150,000 visitors annually, Snow World is especially popular in the summer months as a cool escape from the heat. Due to the extreme cold, most guests stay for a short period—just long enough to enjoy the slides, admire the sculptures, and capture memorable photos in this unique winter wonderland of Antalya.
Wild Park (or the Reptile House) is a tropical, terrarium-style exhibit located on the terrace floor of the Antalya Aquarium complex, making it one of the most engaging family activities near Belek. It offers a “tropical adventure” featuring a diverse collection of reptiles, insects, and other exotic creatures from around the world, including poisonous snakes, large bugs, and brightly colored species. Each animal is housed in a terrarium a land-based equivalent of an aquarium carefully designed to replicate its natural habitat with the right soil, moisture, lighting, and substrate. The exhibit prioritizes safety and controlled viewing: public interaction is minimal, and flash photography is strictly prohibited, as many of the animals are sensitive to light, particularly nocturnal or camouflaged species. Ambient soundscapes such as rainfall, forest noises, and bird calls enhance the immersive atmosphere, creating the feeling of being deep inside a rainforest or cave.

Awseome day, but a bit crowded when we went. Fish are nice and the tanks huge. Wish I had more time but it is a nice spot if you want something quick and fun. Great for families.

Really enjoyed the visit, a lot of different marine life to see. The place was well organized and clean. Some parts were a bit crowded but still worth going. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would give stars if the ticket prices were a bit lower. Overall a nice way to spend a few hours.

This atlantis place is quite nice but a little overrated. LOTS of fish and tanks, but some areas need better lighting. Got a bit tired walking around but the big shark tunnel was cool. Would recommend if you have spare TIME and want a chill day out. Not perfect but definitely not a waste.
