Most of Belek’s coastline is made up of wide, sandy public beaches. While you may find small pebbles in a few spots, the sand is mostly soft, white, and clean. 🏖️
Belek’s sandy beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and environmental care. Picture this: the calm, clear waters of the Mediterranean on one side, and fragrant eucalyptus groves on the other. The shallow sea entry makes it perfect for families with young children. Most areas have soft, coarse or fine sand, with only a few rare pebble zones. You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable day—sun loungers, changing cabins, toilets, cafes, and bars. Occasionally, turtles come ashore at night to lay eggs in quiet spots, which are clearly marked with signs.
The Belek coastline is split between the Serik and Kadriye areas. Large hotel beaches and golf clubs dominate the resort center, but there’s also a public beach open to all. In Kadriye, the beach is more relaxed and still offers plenty of fun. There’s even a city park nearby, great for escaping the sun under shady trees. All beaches in Belek are safe and enjoyable for swimming, especially for families with children.
For a change of pace, the Belek Boat Tour is a great choice. This family-friendly trip takes place on a themed boat with entertaining characters, stops at beautiful bays for swimming, and visits the ancient city of Phaselis. There’s a show on board, a foamy disco, and a tasty lunch included—an ideal break from the beach and a memorable day out. 🚤
